Indesign: Posters

After learning the basics of indesign, we were tasked to create album covers/posters inspired by Swissted.

Here is a selection of the 15 I designed.

This first one used some circle and square shapes of different sizes which I stacked on top of one another. I then experimented with effects and ended up with this design where the circles are hidden behind the squares. I think I used the overlay or screen effect for this. I also added contrasting white text for the title.

 

This design used the same circle shapes but I altered the arrangement and used a different effect.

This is another Circle design, but I used different opacities and used the 'Type on a Path' tool.

Here I experimented with a more simple design, using red black and white. I used an effect to make the shapes different colours where they overlap.

Finally, for this design I used an arrangement of circles and added a square over the top so that at the top they were black and white.
