Animate: Sound and Project 2
In this lesson we made our own version of keyboard which plays sound.
We first downloaded the sound files and made one of the white keys, then duplicated it to create one for each sound. We then did the same for the black keys and then added two buttons which would play a song. To do this we added a codename to the song in the library and then added the script which would make it play/stop. We also added a line to the script that it so that if the play button was pressed multiple times the song wouldn't play over itself. After this we could add decorations.

The second project is to create some sort of interactive story/tour based around 'city of the future'. This would include sounds and 7+ frames.
Here are some examples of Digital Media that present interesting ideas about views on the future:

This article talks about issues of TIME published before 1992, which include predictions of the future. InfraSpace (dionicsoftware.com)
This game InfraSpace is a sci-fi city builder, it looks as though it is based in a future where people have had to move to another planet like Mars.

It includes lots of futuristic buildings as well as hover vehicles. The aim of the game is to collect resources and expand the city in order to unlock new things.
The concept of moving to another planet like Mars, isn't too peculiar since Nasa is researching the posibility. Though we do not know when this will happen, we do know that life on another planet would be very different and so would citys.
Natural resources on the planet would probably used to make buildings and citys might be planned out better considering it would be built from ground up and there would probably be more thought put into the layout ect. since there are lots of media speculating about how life would be on Mars.
This article explains some more details about plans for life on Mars: Plans for the first sustainable city on Mars unveiled | Euronews
Therefore, I could prehaps incorporate the idea of living on another planet into my project.
