App Presentation

I worked on the presentation for my app after seeing the examples we were shown in class.

The first slide I did was a digital version of my user journey. I think this turned out looking nice. This made it quite simple to visualise the user's journey through the app.

I also did the same for the wireframe I drew.

For the 2nd slide, I described the app and what it does. I also added a bit about the name of the app and how I came up with it because that was something I saw in the example presentations and I also think it helps to clarify the reason I chose the name.

I then also added some of the branding and screenshots of the app to make it more cohesive. I then went through the presentation and tried to make it look nice.

For the personas, I found images on thispersondoesnotexist. I then described the type of people I think would use the app, which would be people who want to share status with family and friends and has a smartwatch.

For the business case I though that a company might want to invest in the app also there could be paid content like extra emojis or custom icons on the homepage. I also had the idea of adding the option of having sounds/audio messages incorporated so that the app is more accessible. I did some research on the prices of apps and income from in-app purchases to back up my case. Though I am not really sure if this business case would be profitable.

For the apendix I expanded on the Business case and included research for app revenue like how much an app costs.

The last thing I added was a video showing the app prototype, the aspect ratio doesn't look right here because when the video plays there are black lines at the top and bottom so the video insert was squashed so the video would play without the black lines.
