Video Editor Reacts to INSANE Transitions in ITZY “Cheshire” - YouTube

I watched this video where a video editor breaks down some of the effects used in a music video. Though I am not doing VFX (for video) or video editing for my current projects. There are lots of interesting transitions used and it's interesting to see how the editor perceives them. 

One thing they talk about a lot is match cuts which are when similar scenes from two different cuts are put together. This can be very similar shots or shots with similar props. 

There is also the theme of not knowing if things are real or not and this concept is portrayed through the mixture of CGI and real backdrops. 

Overall, although I don't think I will ever make something like this I think the editing techniques and how the concept is portrayed through the editing are very interesting.
