Spear & Jackson Galvanised Steel Watering Can, 4.5L (johnlewis.com)

I used this as inspiration for the Watering can I modeled since I wanted something that a looked a bit old (So not the basic green plastic watering can) I used texture painting to make it metallic and used blue as an accent colour. I also added dots on the spout. This was quite fun to model and try to figure out how to do the shapes like the handles.

I made the metal texture look a bit old by adding streaks of different grey tones and using the smudge and blend tools to merge them. I also originally did all the textures on the same sheet but the uvs overlapped a bit and since I didn't want to ruin the texture I had by moving the uvs I just made two versions of the texture instead. In the image below there were some imperfections some how (these were not in blender) but the model looks fine in Unreal.

For the flower, I used a duplicate of my flower model and removed some of the petals I then rotated it and adjusted the shapes to make it look a bit more wilted. The texture for this didn't turn out perfect, for some reason the gradient that I added didn't really show up on the petals but I think it is still readable as a flower at the end of its life. I also adjusted the leaves to match and added the stem with leaves since it probably wouldn't make too much sense without them.

For the clock I went for an old style like the watering can, I created a wood texture and an off-white colour for the face. I also purposefully left out the clock numbers since the clock symbolises the passing of time but there is no way of actually knowing what time it is, similar to how time is in dreams. I also tried texture painting the hands of the clock however this didn't look very good so I modelled them instead and I am happy I did this.

Overall I think all three of these models turned out well, but I wish I could have showcased them better in my work and also I think I could have improved the watering can texture. But I also learnt a lot more about how to edit Uvs and texture painting in Blender through this project.
