Rembrandt Video Part 2 and Moving Shapes

Today we continued on with the rembrant video we made the previous week and extended it with more morphs until it was a minute long.
We then learnt about rendering the video so that it plays more smoothly and at full speed. This website gives some information about rendering Adobe Premiere Pro Render Guide: How-to for Beginners | Motion Array. Once rendered the coloured line at the top of the timeline should turn green.

We then added a new sequence (and added the previous sequence into it) so that we could try out different speeds. When changing the speed number you need to do it in this way : 100% > 3100% > 300% . So that it is not 00%, You also need to render again after changing speed since you won't really see the speed properly without rendering. The speed I used was 300%. (When changing speeds the length of the clip/sequence will be different so you may have to adjust things if the sequence is within another sequence).

After this we made another sequence and added the sped up sequence to it (We didn't need to render this because we were going to be making changes). We added a 'Black Video' behind (below) the sequence and a colour matte (Green screen coloured) on top of the sped up morph cut sequence. We then added a oval mask to the Colour matte/Green layer, inverted the mask and made sure it lined up with the faces from the morph cut sequence.
We then added this sequence to another new sequence and added a Ultra Key effect top key out the green. We could then add a background behind the morphing faces, I tried two different backgrounds and ended up using a landscape painting by Rembrandt.

Moving shapes

We also experimented with moving shapes around the screen using keyframes, here is my result from that:
