Game Rating

We discussed what rating our game would have, and we decided on a 7 rating since we would like many people to be able to play it and there isn't really any violence or scary elements to the game. I don't think it would be suitable for younger children since the rhythm game might be too complex for a young child to understand and also the style is not super colourful and cartoony so might not be as appealing to them.

We chose the rating based on a lesson we had where we went through different age ratings.

Another aspect of the game which we looked at in class was the personas of who might play our game. We made two personas one a young boy and the other a woman in her 30s, we highlighted that our game would be suitable for those that like cooking and rhythm games. There would also be features such as getting a high score and story elements which would appeal to different people.

We also had a go at creating a touch point matrix and user journey to see how users would interact with our game.
