Importing Shape key animations into Unreal

I looked at some more videos to try to import my shape key animations into Unreal, I tried them but none of them really worked

Export as Mesh, smoothing to face, uncheck "all actions" under animation

Import morph targets, Import animations.

The animations were still not working in Unreal so I looked at a different tutorial.

How to create Blender shape key animations and import them in UE4 as morph target animations - YouTube In this tutorial they import the mesh (which has shape keys) without any animation and they tick import morph targets when importing into unreal. This allows the shape keys to show in the skeletal mesh but this didn't work for me.

This video showed a similar example to what I was trying to do but I still couldn't manage to import like shown in the video. (On review I think this was due to modifiers and my shape keys not having the same amount of vertices. This video mentions the number of vertices being important however they don't really show how they are kept the same.)
