How to Use the Grab Component in the Unreal Engine VR Template - YouTube
I looked at this video to learn how the grab components work however the grab component messed up the animations for the objects I wanted animated so I removed them for the 360 video export. It was interesting how there were options for how the user holds the object though and If I ever do VR again this would be useful information.
It would have also been nice, if the grab components worked if tested, to have water come out of the watering can when tipped and for the clock to be animated however I don't think I have enough knowledge about Unreal and VR to get this to work but it was a nice idea and I could maybe look for some tutorials for that if I ever wish to do something like this again.
Near the end of the project I also added fades at the start and end of the sequence https://docs.unrealengine.com/5.0/en-US/cinematic-color-fade-track-in-unreal-engine/#:~:text=Steps%201%20From%20the%20Main%20Tool%20Bar%20click,Click%20image%20for%20full%20size.%20...%20More%20items It was quite simple to add since I just had to add a fade layer on the sequencer and then animate it to how I wished it to be. In hindsight, I think I could have extended the sequence and made these fades a bit longer to make the introduction and ending more subtle.
