These Dev Swap videos give an insight into what developers think about when making a game and how the different developers have their own styles as well as ideas which they incorporate into the game.

I found this video quite interesting it compares a scene from a film to a CGI version they make, and they also show how it is made. It makes sense that film companies/producers would choose CGI to save time and money as well as to prioritise the safety of actors, however, the real-life will in most cases feel more realistic to the viewer.
