Updating my character again
So as I mentioned in my previous blog I had to redo the characters hair.
I saw this video on instagram by: Sysina (@sysinacgi) • Instagram photos and videos which inspired me to get it done. (My leaves are different, but it was interesting to see how they made their leaves)
I also decided to make a more realistic texture for the leaves since the previous texture wasn't supposed to be the final texture, it was just to make the leaves look like leaves. I think the texture still needs some adjustments but I think it looks much more polished.
I also added 2 extra animations (though I had a problem adding extra actions- had to push down a new action to be able to edit it) and I couldn't find the setting to increase the 250 frame limit. (It was within output properties)
When importing the character into unity again my potato had no hair which worried me (because the hair showed in the file thumbnail and also the leaf parts were showing in blender) I luckily found the problem which was that the renderers for the leaf parts were set to off for some reason, I'm glad this was a quick fix.
My next steps will be to impliment the new animations (which are for the trap and treasure cutscenes, which I also need to figure out) I will also need to start making some more models and once the level is complete I can add the other levels and from there I can work on the other scenes the aspect of changing scenes.
